A Welcome Lesson is a one-time private lesson for riders who are new to Beverly Equestrian or new to riding. The lesson is $150, approximately 45 minutes, and includes a school horse fully tacked and untacked for you. The goal is to assess riding level, introduce horsemanship basics, and ensure a safe, positive first experience.

Yes. All riders must complete a waiver prior to arrival:

All ongoing lessons are scheduled using the Beverly Google Calendar system.
Scheduling steps:
You will be granted access to the shared Beverly lesson calendar
You will create your own lesson event
The event must be placed on the Beverly calendar (not a personal calendar)
The lesson is considered confirmed once visible on the Beverly calendar
⚠️ Under Calendar, make sure to select “beverlyeq@gmail.com” This ensures your appointment is added to the shared calendar and not just your personal one.
The distinction is based on how the lesson is scheduled, not how many riders attend.
Private Lesson: You reserve a specific time slot with an instructor. Ideal for focused instruction or scheduling flexibility.
Group Lesson: You join a lesson during a designated group time. Group lessons require minimum skill eligibility.
If additional riders join a privately scheduled lesson, the rate typically remains unchanged.

Payment Information As a small, horse-focused business, we traditionally operate as a cash-based program. However, to stay flexible and accommodate the needs of our wonderful clients, we offer a variety of ways to pay, including a credit card on this website. All services available for purchase on this website include a credit card convenience fee. If you prefer to avoid this fee, you are welcome to pay by electronic cash methods (Zelle) and access the cash price provided with the service or on the shopping cart page.
