Sundays, Gates open at 4:00 PM Matches typically begin between 5:00 and 5:30 PM.
Location: Beverly Equestrian, The Plains, VA Follow signage for “Polo Parking” upon arrival.

🏇 Do I Need a Ticket for Sunday Polo?

Accepted Answer

Polo Club Social and Player Members are invited to the VIP Polo Deck with VIP parking and hosted hospitality. Credentials are required for this area. Please email for information about our Polo Club and memberships.

Spectators are welcome and no ticket is needed to attend the Sunday matches. There is parking on the shaded berm by the field. Please be careful around the field and stay at least 40 feet back from the boards. Please note that Beverly Farm is only open for Sunday Polo matches that are advertised as such. Otherwise, all visits to the farm are by appointment only.

🍹 What’s Included with my Beverly Polo Club Social Membership?

Accepted Answer

Beverly Polo Club members receive a Welcome Kit with information about the season. To summarize, our members receive:
 • Access to the exclusive VIP Polo Deck with premium parking, shade, and seating
 • 2 complimentary drink tickets per match (redeem for wine, beer, or a specialty beverage)
 • Light snacks at the hospitality station
 • Children under 12 attend free
 • BYOB welcome (coolers encouraged, glass discouraged!)

Membership Guidelines
 • VIP access is limited to 2 adults per membership (kids under 12 are free)
 • No general public access—advance season membership purchase only
 • Dogs allowed on leash on leash only

 • Horses always have the right of way
 • Stay behind ropes, field lines, and all barriers—they're there for your safety
 • No approaching horses or riders unless invited by staff or players
 • All attendees assume personal responsibility for their safety and that of any guests or children they bring—polo is a fast-paced sport with inherent risks
 • By entering the premises, guests acknowledge and accept these risks and agree to follow all posted and verbal instructions from staff

Absolutely! Tailgating is a Beverly tradition. Bring your picnic setup, coolers, and friends.

Question 7

What happens if it rains?

Accepted Answer

Rain or Shine Commitment: Polo matches are held rain or shine. However, if the grass field is too wet to safely play, the match will be moved to the all weather arena.

VIP Deck Weather Watch: If rain is forecasted, a decision will be made by 5:00 PM on the Saturday before the Sunday match regarding the use of the Field-Side VIP Deck.

Cancellation Protocol: If the deck is canceled due to weather, social members will be notified via email and/or social media of the cancellation.Club members are still welcome to watch the arena matches from the spectator arena deck, but no hospitality will be available.
