A compact horse show should not mean fewer choices. It should mean better ones. The jumper ring gives professionals and amateurs room to make their own plan. We begin with the mid-range heights and build upward. Then we take a break, bring the jumps back down for our newest competitors, and begin building again. The hunter schedule follows the same natural progression, moving through the heights so horses and riders can find the right place in the schedule. Pick what works. L

A horse show isn't there to provide another week of training. A show has a different purpose: it proves where you are in your training.
