🏆Countdown 5: You Don’t Need a Week to Prove It

A horse show isn't there to provide another week of training. The lessons, the repetition, the fitness, the practice — that work belongs at home. A show has a different purpose: it proves where you are in your training.
Sometimes it confirms that the training is working. Sometimes it tells you what you need to take home and work on next.
Either way, it doesn't take much time to find out.
That philosophy is part of why the Fall Classic is deliberately compact. Friday schooling is available if your horse needs to see the show ring. Then Saturday and Sunday are for competition. Walk the course. Warm up. Go through the in-gate. Jump the jumps.
We don't think you need more days, more schooling or more time away from home simply to make a horse show feel important.
A great friend once put it simply:
If you didn't bring it to the show, don't expect to find it there.
Do the work at home. Bring it to the show. Compete. Then take your horse home.
Everything you need. Nothing you don't.
