April's Homecoming is more than symbolic—it marks the beginning of our most visible and integrated season. From this point forward, the full Beverly platform comes into focus: shows, training, leasing, lessons, and soon, polo—all operating in parallel.

At Beverly, every rider begins the same way: learning the fundamentals through structured lessons. It’s a system designed to build position, understanding, and confidence with consistent guidance. But at a certain point, something shifts. Progress is no longer only what happens during lessons but what happens between them.

After a winter spent between Wellington and Virginia—our polo ponies and jumpers in Florida, and the rest of our program at home—we return to what matters most: being together again on the same farm. While Wellington offers exceptional sport, training, and weather, there is a rhythm and connection here in Virginia to which we year to return.

Our Summer On-Site Lease Program is designed to offer exactly that: a structured, supported pathway into meaningful access to horses, without the uncertainty or complexity that often comes with it.

With the completion of Spring 1, we’ve taken a close, analytical look at our hunter schedule and identified an opportunity to refine the experience further.

To keep the day running smoothly for both hunters and jumpers, please review the parking, check-in, and stabling information below before arriving at the farm.

Hunters & EQ: Pick up your back number at the Main Ring (#1) barn alcove. Jumpers & EQ: Pick up your back number at the Grand Prix (#5) coffee station. Showing in both rings? Go to the GP Arena (#5) in-gate. 

Spring 1 marks the transition from winter schooling shows to spring preparation as riders begin preparing for the Beverly Spring Classic and their first rated competition.

Each year, March arrives with a renewed sense of possibility. We look forward to the warm breezes, the first peaks of daffodils and crocus, and the unmistakable shift toward longer days and expanded riding opportunities. It is the natural beginning of our most active and rewarding season.

We are pleased to announce that the inaugural rated Spring Classic at Beverly Equestrian has moved from May 15–17 to May 23–24, with ticketed schooling on Friday, May 22, in The Plains, Virginia. This marks the first time Beverly will host USEF-rated Hunters and Jumpers, and we are proud to bring this next step in our program to the community.

As many of our longtime clients can attest, Beverly has continued to expand since its inception in 2010 — in boarding amenities and service, instructional depth, rehabilitation sophistication, and as a recognized show venue. This evolution is part of a strategy to take what has become a very multifaceted program and make it work for everyone — and especially for our treasured boarders.

As our riders transition from winter foundation competitions into the spring season — and for many, into the rated environment — Beverly is hosting a focused, three-day immersion designed to ensure every rider understands the standards that govern competition before stepping through the in-gate.

We are entering an exciting phase as winter transitions to spring. We are happy to introduce an expanded lesson structure that reflects both our commitment to lesson flexibility through staffing growth and increasing ring capacity as we can expand to our multiple outdoor arenas.

Thank you to our competitors, trainers, and families for bringing such positive momentum to Beverly. With Jumpers in the Indoor and Hunters in the Outdoor, we loved seeing everyone take advantage of a beautiful Saturday and a schedule built to keep the day moving.

With Winter 3 now set for February 21, and the structure for the Beverly Spring Classic officially revealed, the bigger picture is clear: Spring at Beverly is not a reset. It is a progression.

The Beverly Spring Classic was created to bridge the preparation gap between winter riding and prime summer showing in Virginia. Held in mid-May, the show is designed to serve riders who are: transitioning out of winter training, building toward their first—or next—rated summer season, seeking a development-focused environment, interested in steady progression across hunters, equitation, and jumpers.
