🏆 Fall Classic Hunter Schedule: This is Your Ring.

There can be a moment when a rated horse show feels like it belongs to somebody else. The bigger horses. The bigger jumps. The riders who do this every weekend.

The Fall Classic hunter schedule was built around the riders we see every day in Virginia: riders developing at Opportunity, moving through Short Stirrup, competing in the Low Hunters, and stepping into the Children’s and Adult Hunters.

Start Where You Are

You do not need to be headed to 3'6" to belong at a rated horse show. You might be putting together your first real courses. You might be ready to move out of Opportunity. You might have spent the season getting comfortable at 2'. You might be an adult who has work on Monday and simply wants a good weekend showing the horse you love.

At the Fall Classic, there are classes that give each of these riders a ring. That is because the hunter schedule presents a progression through the levels, with divisions that make sense for where these developing riders are right now.

The Wofford Is Your Ring

And at Beverly, it is not just any ring: it is the Wofford Ring. This is the venue's main ring that has been the site of high performance USET teams and is noted as some of the best footing in the area.

It is also where all of the hunter classes run: from the developing riders through the Children's and Adult Hunters at 3'. Same beautiful ring. Same prepared footing. Same horse show. Because the placement of your class shouldn't be determined by the height of the fence but what it means to you. And your round's sigficance to you deserves the best Beverly has to offer.

Maybe this is your first rated show. Maybe you have shown rated before, but somewhere bigger still feels intimidating. Maybe you think that you are not quite ready yet.

But this is your time. And sometimes the best way to finish a season isn't to ask for something bigger.

It is to recognize how far you have already come. Bring the horse you have. Enter the division that fits. Walk into the Wofford and enjoy the fact that you are there.
