Thank you to our competitors, trainers, and families for bringing such positive momentum to Beverly. With Jumpers in the Indoor and Hunters in the Outdoor, we loved seeing everyone take advantage of a beautiful Saturday and a schedule built to keep the day moving.

With Winter 3 now set for February 21, and the structure for the Beverly Spring Classic officially revealed, the bigger picture is clear: Spring at Beverly is not a reset. It is a progression.

The Beverly Spring Classic was created to bridge the preparation gap between winter riding and prime summer showing in Virginia. Held in mid-May, the show is designed to serve riders who are: transitioning out of winter training, building toward their first—or next—rated summer season, seeking a development-focused environment, interested in steady progression across hunters, equitation, and jumpers.

Very few facilities offer both a robust school horse lesson program and the quantity, quality, and continuity of shows that Beverly hosts throughout the year. At Beverly, our shows are a natural extension of our training program. Riders can begin with entry-level schooling experiences and progress—at their own pace—through increasingly competitive divisions. The Beverly Spring Classic will offer a carefully designed slate of hunter, equitation, and jumper divisions that prioritizes regional rider development, accessibility, and sustainable progression within a USEF-rated environment.

From the outside, Winter 3 may look like “just another winter show.” In reality, it serves a very specific role in the Beverly calendar: it is the capstone of our winter foundation phase. The Winter Series (December, January, February) is designed as a repeatable, predictable structure to support rider progress and development.

Beverly’s aim is simple and practical—to contribute to a cohesive Virginia show season by thoughtfully adding rated opportunities at points in the calendar where riders can benefit most. The Spring Classic in May and our Fall Classic in October are designed to complement existing summer destinations and help extend the season in a way that works for Virginia-based riders. Winter 2 brings back Friday Ticketed Schooling from 4-6pm for those who pre-register on Strider. The competition day on January 17 continues our Pathway-based format, designed to recognize riders within their stage of development and keep competition thoughtful, fair, and motivating across all levels.

Beverly is pleased to announced the Beverly Spring Classic is scheduled for May 16–17, 2026. We’re thrilled to share that the Beverly Winter Show Series is officially recognized by the USHJA Outreach Program! This means our riders can now earn national USHJA points, year-end ribbons and medallions, and even qualify for the USHJA National Championships—all while competing at Beverly!

Winter 1 was a terrific way to open the season for our Boarders, Riding Club members, and Wakefield Equestrian Team riders. The day reflected the very best of the Beverly community—thoughtful preparation, positive encouragement, and a shared commitment to learning, progress, and enjoyment 🐴

At Beverly, we design our shows so that the ring keeps moving and riders can adapt in real time. Modern entry systems like Strider, combined with Beverly’s AMAZING cloud-based show management system allow us to manage changes efficiently—before the show and even during the day—without slowing down the competition or your schedule.

We know how frustrating uncertainty can be, so we’ve invested in a live scoring and schedule system to help everyone stay in the loop on the show schedule. Here’s what to do: Scan the QR Codes posted throughout the venue or on the show schedule graphic. The live feed will show which classes are currently being judged in each ring. Watch the progress — this will give you the best estimate of when your division is coming up. This is the best available information at all times.

Over the past several months, we have thoughtfully redesigned the prize list, leaderboards, and show schedule, and Winter 1 is your first opportunity to experience these updates in action. This show sets the tone for the season ahead, and we are ready for you to try it out.

As we begin the 2026 Winter Series on December 20, Beverly is proud to unveil a major evolution of the Circuit Leaderboard shaped directly by our riders. We are revamping our Leaderboard, already broken down by discipline, into levels within each one that align your show record with your stage of progress, your goals, and your personal equestrian journey.
