🌞 Enjoy One More Show Weekend on Summer Time with Summer 3’s New Derby Class

Summer isn't quite over yet.

Our final show of the Beverly Summer Series, presented by The Baldwin Group, is Saturday, August 22. After that, school starts, the fall calendar takes over, and many riders turn their attention toward championships and bigger commitments.

But first, there is time for one more summer show — and this one brings something new.

One More Place to Show at Beverly

Throughout the summer, we've loved watching riders make use of Beverly's two competition rings: jumpers in the Grand Prix Arena and hunters in the Wofford. The goal has always been straightforward — offer quality footing, good courses and a thoughtfully run day in an environment where horses and riders can do their best work.

For Summer 3, we're adding a third competition space. Our irrigated grass field will make its competition debut with the Tri-County Feeds 2'3" Grass Hunter Derby. The derby will run immediately after the Wofford concludes and before we move to the indoor for our trio of poles classes for our newest jumpers.

It's a small addition to the schedule, but one we're particularly excited about.

Strider Has Made Entries Easier

Strider has also introduced its new Guest User Feature, which should make managing show entries easier. Riders can create a Strider member account whenever they're ready, and their previous Strider entries will automatically appear in their Rider Schedule. If an entry was made using another email address or while the rider wasn't logged in, it can be claimed using the entry confirmation number. That means one place to manage entries and upload current documents — and fewer documents going back and forth with the show office.

Coming From Summer 2?

If your entry from our postponed July show has not yet been transferred, email bevshowsec@gmail.com by Monday, August 18.

We'll transfer the entry to Summer 3 at no additional cost. There is no need to enter or pay again.

Come Spend a Summer Saturday at Beverly

Spectators are always free, and Summer 3 is no exception. Bring a chair, bring the family and come watch the first derby on Beverly's grass field.

We believe good horse shows don't have to be complicated. They need good footing, thoughtful courses, an efficient schedule and people who care about creating the right experience for horses and riders.

That's what we've tried to build throughout the Summer Series. Summer 3 gives us one more Saturday to enjoy it.

September will come soon enough. Fall shows will begin, school will be back in session, and the next season will be underway.

But first, August.
