Some horses want to see the ring first. Some riders want one quiet trip before the weekend begins. And some horses step off the trailer ready to go. The Fall Classic leaves that choice to you. Ticketed Schooling opens the competition rings on Friday, October 2, giving horses and riders the opportunity to get comfortable before Saturday's classes begin. But Friday is not another required day of competition. It is simply there if it helps.

Your First Classic Can Be Cross Rails This year, the Classics start at Cross Rails. Not because Cross Rails is where everyone is headed, but because for some riders, Cross Rails is exactly where they are. It might be the first time riding at a rated show, or the first time hearing your number called and walking into the ring knowing this round matters just a little bit more. The fences may be small, but the moment isn’t. You don't have to wait. Start where you are.

The Fall Classic hunter schedule was built around the riders we see every day in Virginia: riders developing at Opportunity, moving through Short Stirrup, competing in the Low Hunters, and stepping into the Children’s and Adult Hunters. Plus, these classes run in the venue's main ring: The Wofford. Becuase at Beverly, we believe the placement of your class shouldn't be determined by the height of the fence.
