January is always a meaningful moment at Beverly. It represents both a fresh start and a continuation of the work we care most deeply about: providing thoughtful, well-supported access to horses and horsemanship for riders at every stage—especially those entering the sport or building their foundation.
As new riders join us and familiar faces return, our focus remains steady. We aim to offer a program where riders can start where they are, learn at an appropriate pace, and move forward with confidence—supported by well-cared for horses, clear structure, and a community that values progress over pressure. This check-in outlines how that mission is taking shape across lessons, shows, clinics, and access opportunities as winter programming settles in.
Updated Lesson Schedule
With such a full and varied group of riders this winter, we have revisited the lesson schedule to better organize lesson blocks based on skill level, convenience, and overall program flow. These adjustments allow us to group riders more thoughtfully, use our horses effectively, and maintain the quality of instruction across the board.
Please visit the Client Access page for the most up-to-date schedule, which will be posted shortly. As always, if something is not working for you, or if you have questions about placement, availability, or options, we encourage you to reach out. Flexibility and communication remain central to how we operate.
Winter 3 Schooling Show — February 7
Our next schooling show, Winter 3, takes place on Saturday, February 7, and we are pleased to share that it will be a fully recognized competition.
Riders will earn points toward:
VHSA
BHSA
USHJA Outreach
The Beverly Leaderboard Pathways
This show is an excellent option for lesson-horse and Riding Club riders who are ready to step into the ring, gain mileage, and see their progress reflected in a structured, supportive system. If you are interested in participating, please let us know early so we can assist with planning and horse assignments.

Presidents Day Immersion Clinic: The Three-Ring Horse & Rider
Following the success of our winter immersion clinics, we are excited to offer another session over Presidents Day Weekend, featuring an innovative Three-Ring Horse & Rider program.
This clinic is designed to develop well-rounded riders by exploring the distinct—but connected—skills required in hunters, jumpers, and equitation. Through progressive mounted sessions and focused instruction, riders will gain a deeper understanding of adaptability, accuracy, position, and rideability across all three rings.

Wellington Access Program — One Spot Remaining
Our Wellington Access Program remains available with one remaining spot. This option is ideal for riders seeking seasonal exposure, training support, or a guided introduction to South Florida’s winter circuit without a full relocation commitment.
If this is something you have been considering—now or in the future—we are happy to discuss what access and support could look like for you.
Micro Sponsorships: An Easy Way to Be Involved
Micro Sponsorships continue to be a popular option for friends and family members who want to support the Beverly program without a hands-on role. These sponsorships offer meaningful involvement, visibility, and connection to the community—while directly supporting shows, prizes, and programming.
If you know someone who loves the barn, the riders, or the atmosphere and wants to be part of it in a simple way, this is a great place to start.

Looking Ahead… Sunday Polo Is Closer Than You Think
While winter riding is in full swing, we’re already looking ahead. Sunday Polo will be returning sooner than it may feel right now, and we can’t wait to welcome riders, families, and spectators back for another season of relaxed, community-centered competition and fun.
More details coming soon.

Start Where You Are. We Will Meet You There.
At Beverly, access is not just about being able to ride—it is about being able to learn, participate, and belong, whether your goals are your first confident canter, your first show, or simply more consistency and connection with horses.
We are grateful to our lesson-horse and Riding Club riders for trusting us with your development and for contributing to the calm, engaged, and supportive environment that defines this program. Your commitment allows us to continue offering opportunities that are educational, sustainable, and genuinely welcoming.
We look forward to a productive winter ahead and to supporting each of you as you continue building skills, confidence, and experience—one thoughtful step at a time.
💙 Excellence. Empathy. Community.
