We’re wrapping up an incredible week in Lexington, Virginia at the Fall Festival of Champions—a premier event for hunters, jumpers, and equitation riders alike. Our jumpers took on the Classics in the main Grand Prix DeeDee Arena, while our hunters and equitation riders impressed in their rings around the venue.
The Virginia Horse Center has continued to reinvent itself: providing new footing, the upgraded DeeDee Grand Prix Pavilion, and a lovely food court and vendor area, as well as permanent stabling. Competitor hospitality, beautifully decorated rings, and that signature Virginia hospitality made this week at VHC one to remember.
It takes a true village to keep horses and riders shining across multiple disciplines and rings while still running operations smoothly at home. We’re so grateful to our support staff, assistant trainers, and to all of you for your patience and teamwork.
At Beverly, we have a Pathway for everyone—whether you’re traveling with us to shows, riding at home, or supporting from the sidelines, you’re a valued part of our community. Some of our riders have progressed from their first lessons to competing at major venues, while others are exactly where they want to be, enjoying their riding journey at their own pace. No matter where you are on the Pathway, you’re part of the Beverly family.
Organizing shows (in addition to a training, rehab, riding lesson venue and polo club), the Beverly team appreciates how much work it takes to these shows happen. We owe a huge thank-you to our Virginia heritage venues—Commonwealth Horse Park (Culpeper), Upperville (Salem and Grafton), Morven Park, and of course the Virginia Horse Center—for keeping our sport(s) thriving.
Please remember to thank your show organizers and give them a little grace when things don't go perfectly. There is way more going on behind the scenes than you know, and without them, none of this would be possible. Together, we make this amazing horse community stronger.
