Hello, long holiday weekend! It will be September in just a few days, and we are full throttle with all of our Beverly programs. Beverly Polo brings a big Labor Day doubleheader with two finals over two days. Our biggest new feature this year is the addition of a rated USEF Jumper-Only Series. Wakefield practices start this week with three groups. The Baldwin Group proudly sponsors our fall local series.

The Summer Circuit presented by Tri-County Feeds wrapped up with Summer 3 on August 23 — and what a finish! Thank you to all the riders, teams, and trainers who made this summer such a success. 💚

This October, Beverly brings something new to Virginia’s fall calendar: the premiere of USEF-rated jumper shows in Hunt Country. What makes this series unique? The same venue that hosts our local shows also hosts our new rated shows. That means you can practice at Beverly all fall long — on the same footing, in the same arenas, and over the same jumps — before stepping into the spotlight at the rated level.

Fall is just around the corner, and you know what that means… fall vaccines! (Just kidding 😉). It ALSO means beautiful weather, great riding, the return of familiar programs, and the promise of new ones.

Hunters take the spotlight this Saturday as we bring them to the Derby Field for Summer 3! 🌿✨  With a refreshed schedule, the addition of Equitation Over Fences (Class No. 40), and riders’ favorites leading the way, this is your chance to experience hunters like never before. We are delighted to announce the appointment of Collette McNell as Barn Manager and Senior Instructor at Beverly Equestrian. Collette brings more than twenty years of experience in the equestrian industry, combining deep technical expertise with exceptional leadership and organizational skills.

Residing at Beverly Polo Club in The Plains, Virginia since 2021, this prestigious national tournament features Tri-County Feeds, Salamander, and Beverly Polo battling for the title in 12–16 goal play.

We’re wrapping up an incredible week in Lexington, Virginia at the Fall Festival of Champions—a premier event for hunters, jumpers, and equitation riders alike. Our jumpers took on the Classics in the main Grand Prix DeeDee Arena, while our hunters and equitation riders impressed in their rings around the venue.

🏆 The Title is on the Line this Sunday! Today — August 10 — we crown the champions of The Baldwin Beverly Invitational 10-Goal! 📌 Match Lineup: 4:30 PM — Pro/Am: Campbell Polo vs. White Oaks Polo 6:00 PM — Final: Beverly vs. Marjing.

It was a fun and relaxing evening, and we loved seeing so many familiar faces enjoying the deck and the match. 🐴 Gratitude & Community Thanks for bringing your energy, feedback, and support. We’re building something special at Beverly—one that celebrates horses, open space, and a strong, connected community.

Update on the Derby Field: To better serve our Poles & Cross Rail riders, we’re opening a third ring on our Derby Field this Saturday! 🌿 This allows you to ride earlier in the day and beat the heat. Please note: ⏱️ This ring will begin when the Hunter Ring breaks for schooling, and will continue until all entries are complete. 🙋‍♀️ We’re training a new in-gate team member, so thank you in advance for your patience and good vibes as we make this happen for you!
