More Trainers, More Rings, More Flexibility for You!

We are continuing to use the Beverly Google Calendar for all lesson scheduling. The overall lesson structure remains the same, but we have expanded sign-up options to reflect:

• Additional trainers on staff

• Increased private lesson availability

• Additional outdoor rings coming online this spring

Please read carefully, as private and group sign-ups are handled differently.

🟢 Thursday Update: Foundational Lesson Block

We have replaced the previous “No Lesson” block on Thursdays with a Foundational Lesson block.

This dedicated period is designed specifically for riders who are looking for additional instructional time focused on fundamentals, position, flatwork, and skill reinforcement. It provides a quieter, structured environment intended to strengthen the building blocks that support both group and private lesson progressions.

This block is available for lesson sign-ups on the hour through the Google Calendar.

🟡 GROUP LESSONS (No Change to Structure)

Weekend group lessons remain in the morning. Group sign-up procedure remains the same:

✔ Do not write your name inside the group suggestion block.

✔ Create a separate new calendar event with:

• Your name first

• The word “Group”

• Any notes

Example:“Emily – Group”

This allows us to clearly track attendance and manage instructor assignments efficiently.

🔵 PRIVATE LESSONS (Expanded Options)

Weekend private lessons remain in the afternoon, beginning at 12:00 PM.

You will now see:

• Private 1

• Private 2

• Private 3

These represent additional private lesson slots within the same hourly block.

How Private Sign-Up Works (Different from Group)

✔ If you see a time you want, add your name directly to the actual Private event.

✔ Do not create a separate event for privates.

✔ Private lessons are first come, first served.

Once your name is added:

• We will assign an instructor.

• Lesson horse riders will be assigned a horse.

• Assignments are based on our usual criteria (availability, suitability, training progression).

If there is an issue, we will contact you directly. Otherwise, assume the lesson is confirmed.

⚠️ About “Private 3 – TBD”

During this late winter / early spring shoulder season, you may see:

Private 3 – TBD

This means:

• That slot is pending based on weather, ring flow, and overall schedule.

• It is not confirmed until the “TBD” is removed.

We will:

• Update the status the night before the lesson date.

• Either remove “TBD” (confirming the slot), or

• Remove the lesson entirely if conditions do not support it.

This notation will always be updated the evening before to support your planning.
