📅 Date Change Announcement Beverly Spring Classic – Now May 23–24

We are pleased to announce that the inaugural rated Spring Classic at Beverly Equestrian has moved from May 15–17 to May 23–24, with ticketed schooling on Friday, May 22, in The Plains, Virginia.

This marks the first time Beverly will host USEF-rated Hunters and Jumpers, and we are proud to bring this next step in our program to the community.

Why the Date Change

Our focus has always been on entry-level and developing riders building toward their first rated experiences. However, after listening to feedback from the broader community, we recognized that moving one week later in 2026 creates meaningful benefits for riders across the region.

What This Change Achieves

By shifting to May 23–24, we:

• Eliminate calendar conflicts with national competitions in region in 2026

• Create a more continuous spring season for upper-level performance riders

• Expand competitive opportunities for riders throughout our region

• Maintain a clear developmental pathway for entry-level competitors

• Support a natural progression toward cornerstone events later in the summer

This move does not change Beverly’s lane — it simply widens the breadth of opportunity available to the entire community.

Our Mission Remains the Same

The Spring Classic will continue to feature:

• Comprehensive entry-level hunter divisions

• Developing and introductory jumper sections

• Equitation opportunities across levels

Our program remains grounded in Beverly’s progression model:

Practice → Prepare → Premiere

The new date simply strengthens that framework while aligning with the broader regional calendar.
