June arrives with long evenings, full rings, and the hum of a farm operating at complete capacity.

April brought us home. May opened the season. June is where it all comes alive.

Upperville week. Sunday polo. Summer horse shows. Lessons running morning to night. Riders preparing for championships, families settling into summer schedules, and the farm in full swing across every program.

This month, we are excited to welcome back the traditions that define summer at Beverly — along with several exciting new additions.

Upperville Week in Our Backyard

June brings one of the most iconic traditions in American horse sport: the Upperville Colt & Horse Show.

As neighbors to this historic show, we always love seeing the entire community come alive during Upperville week. It is a special reminder of the heritage, tradition, and excellence that make this region such an extraordinary place to ride and compete.

Beverly will have two horses competing Thursday through Saturday. If you are at the show, be sure to stop by and visit our setup on the jumper side — we would love to see familiar faces throughout the week.

Sunday Polo Returns June 21 🥂

One of the highlights of summer returns the weekend of June 21 with the opening of Beverly Sunday Social Polo.

This season promises an elevated experience featuring polo, hospitality, social gatherings, and exciting themed Sundays throughout the summer — all made possible through our title partnership with Salamander Collection.

Boarders at Beverly are automatically enrolled as Social Polo Members and are invited to enjoy access to the VIP deck throughout the season, gratis as part of our community programming.

For everyone else, now is the perfect time to consider a season pass and enjoy polo in style all summer long.

Stay tuned for upcoming featured Sundays with activations including winery partners, social events, and more. Consider this a hint: there may be a few surprises worth marking on your calendar.

The Return of the Summer Show Series 🐎

We are thrilled to announce the return of our local Summer Hunter/Jumper Series — this season proudly presented by Baldwin Insurance.

Our summer series is designed to be approachable, welcoming, and fun for riders of all levels, while still delivering the professional atmosphere, quality footing, and thoughtful course design that competitors deserve.

This season also gives riders the opportunity to experience our newly constructed Grand Prix arena and the newly dedicated Wofford Arena — two of the most exciting additions to the farm in recent memory.

Whether you are stepping into the ring for the first time or preparing for bigger goals later in the season, we look forward to seeing you there.

Summer Lessons & Showing on Our School Horses

Our lesson program continues to grow this summer, and with it, new opportunities for riders to compete and develop on our exceptional school horses.

For riders who want to show without the commitment of a lease, our school horses offer a natural and supported pathway — combining consistent quality instruction with the horses you already know and trust from the lesson ring.

We are also especially excited to introduce cohort lessons this season — small, intentional groups for friends or families who want to learn together, with the same quality instruction and horses our program is built on.

As always, there is room at Beverly for riders at every stage of the journey. We look forward to helping you find your place in the summer program.

June always feels like the true beginning of summer at Beverly.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who makes this community what it is, and excited for all that lies ahead this season.
