Happy October! As the leaves change and the air turns crisp, the excitement at Beverly is building for what promises to be our most thrilling fall season yet. We have two local shows, two rated shows, and a circuit finals all on the calendar this fall—an incredible lineup that gives every rider the chance to shine. Whether you’re stepping into the ring for the first time, chasing points, or preparing for bigger stages, this season has something for you.

The Beverly Circuit Finals is the first of its kind in our area, offering both hunters and jumpers a championship-style experience with prizes, recognition, and the chance to celebrate the entire season’s journey. No matter your level, from poles to 1.20m jumpers or Short Stirrup to 3’ hunters, there is a place for you in this Finals.

This year, the season doesn’t end in September. Beverly is extending the calendar with three more weeks of showing right here at home: 1. October 18: Fall 2 (VHSA Hunter/Jumper show to check out the venue) 2. What a weekend at Beverly! We launched our fall season in style with the Fall 1 VHSA/BHSA Hunter Jumper Show and capped things off with the Virginia Polo season finale. Fall 1 was bursting with energy—our home riders shined including Tara and Leo, Ashleigh and Millie, and Leah and Chakko and Leah, among others. Two rings were alive with action: hunters inside, jumpers outside, all against the backdrop of a gorgeous fall day.

From Hunters in the Indoor to Jumpers in the Main Ring and Poles & Cross Rails in their own spotlight — Fall 1 at Beverly gave every rider their moment. Unlike any other show in the region, the Beverly Premiere is designed with you in mind: all jumpers, a top-notch venue, and a full progression of jumper divisions — from .65m all the way to 1.20m Jr/Am & Open classes. We know that many of our riders are balancing busy professional lives, families, school, and countless other commitments. This week marks the beginning of something special at Beverly. On Tuesday, September 16, entries open for the Beverly Premiere, our inaugural rated jumper show to be held October 24–26. This new addition to the calendar gives our riders a seamless step from local competition into the rated jumper ring—without ever leaving home. Our Pathway Program is also in full swing, with many of our summer riders preparing to step confidently into the fall onsite shows after weeks of consistent and dedicated riding. We’re also happy to welcome many of you back into the ring for Fall 1.

Beverly Premiere (Oct 24–26) features a full progression of jumper divisions: 🌟 From .65m Schooling Jumpers up through 1.20m JR/AM & Open classes 🌟 Options for juniors, amateurs, and open riders in every height range 🌟 Sunday Classics for every division. Want a low-key start? Arrive Thursday for ticketed warm-ups, get a feel for the rings, and settle your horse in. This summer, the Beverly community reached a milestone: 1 million views — organically, with no paid advertising. That number is exciting, but what truly matters is what it represents: a community that comes together around horses, open space, sport, and shared experience. The Summer Circuit presented by Tri-County Feeds wrapped up with Summer 3 on August 23 — and what a finish! Thank you to all the riders, teams, and trainers who made this summer such a success. 💚

This October, Beverly brings something new to Virginia’s fall calendar: the premiere of USEF-rated jumper shows in Hunt Country. What makes this series unique? The same venue that hosts our local shows also hosts our new rated shows. That means you can practice at Beverly all fall long — on the same footing, in the same arenas, and over the same jumps — before stepping into the spotlight at the rated level.

Fall is just around the corner, and you know what that means… fall vaccines! (Just kidding 😉). It ALSO means beautiful weather, great riding, the return of familiar programs, and the promise of new ones.

Hunters take the spotlight this Saturday as we bring them to the Derby Field for Summer 3! 🌿✨  With a refreshed schedule, the addition of Equitation Over Fences (Class No. 40), and riders’ favorites leading the way, this is your chance to experience hunters like never before.
